RECEPTION (4 - 5 YEARS)

Reception class is a very exciting year for parents and families, as it is the beginning of a new learning journey for their children. In Reception, we support children to develop into confident and competent learners, in order to be successful in their school life and beyond.

The Reception class is about much more than colours and shapes, numbers and letters. This is the year that the children become 'school-ready'; developing their independence, confidence, resilience and curiosity. It's an exciting time, for children and parents, as their Primary school career begins.
